Bliss Date Reservation Retainer

We require a $500 non-refundable retainer to reserve your wedding date for all Bliss Services. The purpose of the retainer deposit is so we do not book another wedding on your day and the entire deposit goes towards your final total. We also require the initial deposit because more often than not, couples do not finalize their budget until later on in the process. This gives you an opportunity to go ahead and begin the planning process and reserve the right vendors without having to commit to final budget decisions yet. We do not base any of our creative and planning/coordination fees on your budget, but on logisitics. We do not charge you a percentage on top of your budget like most planners (an average of 15-20%!). We work all of our fees into your ideal budget by saving you money on all aspects of your wedding through expert vendor negotiations and skilled planning.

After we receive your deposit and retainer form (both above) we will begin our work and help you plan and book all aspects of your wedding. Later on, when the budgeting is finalized and we have come up with a design plan together, we will create your final contract which will include all services you wish to use from Bliss (ie-flowers, invitations, coordination, etc). A 25% deposit is required when you sign your contract and the remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. You can always pay early if you wish and the payments can come from anyone (if you have multiple people paying for your wedding). We are very open and flexible and know how difficult the budgeting aspect of the wedding is, so we try to make it a very smooth process. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, PayPal, and personal check for the retainer payment only. All other payments must be Check or Money Order. All payments are non-refundable.
